Program Description
Please join expert pulmonologist Tanzira Zaman, MD as she presents case studies of interstitial lung disease (ILD) and discusses the real-life impact of ILD with a patient mentor. Dr. Zaman will review the signs and symptoms in several hypothetical cases, then engage in a conversation with Brittany R., a real-life patient, to discuss the diagnostic journey and challenges of living with ILD.
This presentation will emphasize the importance of the relationships between clinicians and their patients, as well as the necessity of a multidisciplinary approach to co-managing ILD.
