ATS 2024 Exhibit Floor to Feature Record Number of Companies

The ATS International Conference will welcome the largest number of exhibitors ever to its Exhibit Floor at the San Diego Convention Center this month. More than 260 companies – almost 60 of them brand-new to the conference – will showcase the latest products, clinical trials, patient groups, and educational programming to the thousands of attendees that have made its exhibit hall one of the fastest-growing in the country.

The ATS 2024 International Conference Exhibit Hall will be open for three days, Sunday, May 19 – Tuesday, May 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT.

The ATS International Conference is the premier respiratory conference for pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine professionals. In addition to the invaluable educational opportunities, the annual conference is an optimal setting for exhibiting and exploring new products and services that can enhance care across these specialties via the latest technologies in respiratory science, patient care, global public health, and more.

“The Exhibit Hall is an excellent forum each year for organizations to connect with clinicians and researchers to forge collaborations that optimize care for our patients,” said ATS CEO Karen J. Collishaw, MPP, CAE.

Attendees can view the exhibitor directory and Exhibit Hall floorplan on the ATS conference website.

This year’s showroom floor will place an even greater emphasis on education, with five industry theaters and four Innovation Hubs for attendees to learn inside the hall and for exhibitors and sponsors to present the data and findings they’ve been working on. The Industry Theaters will host 30 to 60-minute education sessions, with plenty of seating, while the Innovation Hubs will feature 20-minute “Ted Talk” style presentations for smaller, targeted presentations.

“The Industry Theaters and Innovation Hubs increased the number of time slots available for presentations so attendees can truly take advantage of the education sessions in the Exhibit Hall for 2024,” Ms. Collishaw said.

The ATS team will also host the Continue the Conversation Lounge, a space that connects the Exhibit Hall and Poster Hall for attendees to gather after presentations in both spaces and discuss or debate their takeaways with colleagues in a conducive and engaging location. The Continue the Conversation Lounges are located in booths 436 and 3530.

Alongside the exhibitors’ booths and educational spaces, the showroom floor will offer several areas for conference attendees to relax, take a break, or catch up with colleagues.

The two Coffee and Connections lounges, located in booths 625 and 3324, will provide refreshments and an excellent place to recharge between education sessions. The Coffee and Connections in booth 3324 is supported this year by GSK.

The Exhibit Hall will also have a Fun Zone for attendees to work on their swing in the golf truck simulator or challenge colleagues and friends to fun games like Giant Connect 4, Cornhole, and more. Located in booth 2352, the Fun Zone is sponsored by Verona Pharma Inc.

Attendees can also visit Em-BARK-adero Park to visit the Local Community Corner and Puppy Park. In collaboration with local businesses owned by people of color, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, women, and veterans in San Diego, the ATS is proud to host the Local Community Corner inside this year’s Exhibit Hall. Attendees can learn more about these local businesses and visit them during their stay. Don’t forget to visit Puppy Park, where furry friends are waiting to brighten your day. Em-Bark-adero Park is in booth 1124.

The NASA Hyperwall is also back at ATS 2024 San Diego. The Nasa Hyperwall is a video wall that displays simultaneous high-definition data visualizations and images across multiple screens. Attendees can view themes in astrophysics, earth science, heliophysics, planetary science, and biological and physical sciences gathered from NASA satellites, telescopes, and model data.

The NASA Hyperwall also shows data visualizations that highlight the use of Earth observations for an array of public health applications, including air quality and infectious disease prevention and control. Many existing Hyperwall stories reveal change across space and time, while others display large-scale still images accompanied by descriptive storytelling captions.

Last year, the Exhibit Hall featured a photo booth for professionals to update their professional headshots free of charge. Due to high demand, this year’s booth will have two professional photographers to ensure even more attendees can take advantage of this offering. Photos will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis, with no prior sign-up required. The headshot lounge is in booth 3518.

On Tuesday, May 21, join the Toast to Innovation Networking Event to celebrate all the attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors who continue to advance pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. The event will be held inside the Exhibit Hall from 1:15-2:15 p.m.
